JP Urban Moving: rebuilding quote intake around what customers can see

JP Urban Moving is a Brooklyn moving company handling residential and commercial moves across New York City — and it's part of ForgeMove: the founding mover behind the platform and its first customer. We build on our own moves first. They're replacing their quote form with ForgeMove's Smart Visual Intake, and we're documenting the rollout here as it happens.

Implementation in progress — results will be published on this page

The starting point

Inventories arrived incomplete

Text-box quote forms ask customers to remember and type everything they own. They don't. The garage gets skipped, the basement gets forgotten, and the crew finds out on moving day.

Quoting meant callbacks

An incomplete inventory can't be priced, so every quote turned into phone tag — slower responses, colder leads, and estimates that were still part guesswork.

What's changing

The new intake runs under the JP Urban brand — their name, their colors, their domain. Customers never see ForgeMove.

Tap your furniture, not type it

Customers build their inventory from 260+ hand-drawn icons of real furniture — a queen bed looks different from a king, a sectional from a loveseat. Recognition beats recall, so the list comes back complete.

Cubic feet, live

Every item carries calibrated volume data. The total builds as the customer taps, and JP Urban receives an inventory it can price from without a callback.

Residential and commercial flows

Apartments and brownstones alongside full office moves — cubicles, workstations, conference rooms — each with room-by-room defaults tuned for New York moves.

Every lead, structured

Contact details, addresses, access notes, dates, and the full item list land in one structured record — ready for the estimator, no re-typing.

The rollout, step by step

1

Branding and catalog fit

The intake is skinned in JP Urban's identity and the item catalog is tuned to what their crews actually move. Complete.

2

Go live on jpurbanmoving.com

The visual intake replaces the old quote form as the front door for every new inquiry. In progress now.

3

Measure and publish

Form completion, inventory accuracy, and time-to-quote — tracked against the old form and published here once there's real data to show.
